Events › 8th Grade Art Show: Wizards & Wands Exhibit

Marvel at fantasy characters brought to life by 8th grade art students from Westerville City Schools. Each character is represented by a 2-dimensional piece in media of the artists’ choice, and includes a character summary.

Open to the public when room is not reserved.

(8th graders, contact your school’s art teacher for details about how to participate. Those who have submitted artwork are also invited to attend an open reception on October 22 from 1:30-4:30pm.)

About the Wizards & Wands Festival

October 1-31: Celebrate a wide variety of fantasy fandoms and passions all month long.

• Enjoy a walk-through experience of activities as the library is transformed into a wizarding wonderland.
• Complete fantasy-themed missions for a chance at prize drawings.
• Register for a magical performance or activity.
• Catch sight of Hilda the Dragon's giant not-yet-hatched baby dragon, still safely nestled in its egg on the front lawn.
  

October 27: Experience the magic of your library with spellbinding performers during Midnight Madness in Uptown Westerville. All performances will be held outdoors. For all ages. Costumes encouraged. Admission is free. Learn more.
